    • TSB 20-2190 corrected the same transmission issues on my 2019 ST.  However, I feel that there are still significant transmission shifting problems when attempting to shift manually with the paddles in the S mode. I find it impossible to achieve acceptable manual shifts from 2nd to 3rd to 4th under moderate acceleration in the S mode using the paddles.   Can you perform acceptable shifts in this same situation?  If so, at what RPM or speed are you shifting?  I don't know if it is only my car or if all ST's exhibit the same problem.   It almost seems like the paddles are only intended for use during heavy loaded or towing situations and not spirited driving.

    • I updated to 3.4 this past weekend, it took about 10 minutes before the "update complete" message came on the main display. As soon as I saw the message, I removed the thumb drive.   I shut the car off, then restarted about 10 minutes later. Took a good minute or 2 before the normal "home" screen appeared. Fist image to appear was a Ford symbol (reboot - blue oval, not the normal Ford Performance screen like when you open the door) for over 30 seconds, then the screen went black until the home screen appeared. Took another 1 to 2 minutes for the complete home screen data to appear. I had partial radio info, no cell phone data,  and the map screen was blank during this period.   1 big difference I noticed immediately is the background color/graphics changed. The radio display in particular has multi-colored text for station Id, and song title info. The HD symbol is unchanged in the radio screen, but the change is very noticeable to me. I haven't used the navigation since the upgrade, so I won't comment on it right now. The third screen on my home page is the heated steering wheel symbol, as well as my cell phone data, and this screen remains unchanged.
    • I have only had the Edge ST for 15 months and last winter the snow was light in Westchester County, New York. I had no problems last winter and rain driving is excellent.   You can't really tell the different from the P Zero and the Scorpion Zero All Season Plus in spring, summer and fall weather. I didn't have the P Zero on last winter so I can't give you an experienced comparison. I swapped them October 2019 and have not had any issues at all.   The only physical difference you can see other than tread, is the shoulder around the wheel is definitely thicker on the P Zero than the Scorpion Zero All Season Plus. So you need to be careful around curbs.   Pete...
    • Thanks Pete. Any concerns with handling or traction concerns when using the all seasons on heavier snow or ice?   I will give my shop a chance as well.   Phil
    • Before trying TireRack, give a local tire dealer a chance to match or beat Tirerack's prices. When I bought 4 Pirelli Scorpion ZERO All Season Plus tires, I asked my Service Manager for his best price. He priced me at $195 each including mounting and balancing when Amazon wanted $218 each tire shipped PRIME.   Now is the time we should all be supporting local businesses anyway.   Just a thought...   Pete...
    • Thanks touringmike!
Exactly what I was looking for.
So we have a vote for winters. I am going to use go winter wheels and tires with TPMS and do the swap out as you advise.   Any else have an opinion on all seasons year round before I give my money to Tire Rack? Thanks, Phil.
