New Wall-Mounted Wet-Dry Vacuum for the Car!
CVCashmere posted a topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
Everyone My family gave me a wall-mounted Bissell wet/dry vacuum w/30 feet of cord. No more hauling out vacuum cleaners or trying to blot up wet spots on the carpet. Works great…already used on one hair-ridden vehicle! CVCashmere -

Does anyone have the Ford Part# for the Performance Front and Rear Rotors? Are the fronts 18"? Are the rears 17"? I found these part numbers: Front K2GZ-1125-B Rear KS7Z-2C026-A Are these correct?

My Edge fuel mileage to tank is less than my SHO. Not sure if it is an issue but I don't like it. So I am dong a little ciphering, the trans does not go into 8th gear until at least 62/63 mph. I figured surely it would go in at 55 mph. Sure it is only maybe 300 rpms but at 110 miles a day every ounce counts LOL. Has anyone noticed this and addressed it or ?? Haven't put a tune on it yet but am looking forward to it

2019 Edge ST with 8F57 Transmission Issues
CVCashmere replied to Goony's topic in Recalls, Special Service Messages (SSMs) & Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)
Hi All I notices similar problems to Gooney's issues. Last month, they performed a TSB 8F57 diagnostic and the reflash fixed our problem. Thanks CVCashmere -

Finally! Hood Insulation for the ST That Fits!
CVCashmere replied to CVCashmere's topic in Engine 2.7L EcoBoost
I am surprised that more of you have not bought this insulation as it does quiet down road noise. CVCashmere -
Thanks for the greeting! Just purchased 2020 ST last Saturday

2019 Rear Power Liftgate Issue
CVCashmere replied to MENINBLK's topic in Electrical, Gauges, Instruments, Lighting, Rear View Mirror
On a related note, I opened the liftgate in our garage...and it found the only sharp piece of metal sticking out from my garage door...Bam! First dent in the new car! The manual tells you how to limit the travel, so i set it for a lower level and now, I bang my head on the latch assembly. If you lose power, I wonder if the programming has to be reset? CVCashmere -
Does anyone use an oil separator "Catch Can" with their 2.7 Eco. I know its common practice with the 2.0 Eco

Edger's I was able to order the correct hood insulator for the 2019 ST this week and attach it today! For master mechanics, such as myself, it took 6 minutes. The rest of you should be able to do it under 5 minutes...it's that easy! The clips are already attached...just hold up to the hood, and "push and play". I have enclosed a picture of the actual part # on the bag. The engine has always been quiet, this pad absorbs some of the road noise and sounds closer to a Lincoln inside than before. Cost is about $115 plus tax from your local dealer. I received a Mustang Club discount plus they knew I was going install it myself. Thanks CVCashmere

BTW, save yourself a hassle. Just leave the OEM bracket in place, as the mounting bolt is not easy to reinstall. Remove the single horn from its bracket. Install the new lower horn on the OEM and add the upper one. Note, the newer lower horn gets the vehicle cable pulled into it and has a pigtail for the upper horn. I did not have to pop the three plastic retainers on the rad cover piece. Chris
