    ST Transmission

Yup, same issue I mentioned. Ford is aware but no fix yet. At least they acknowledge the issue.

    ST Transmission

Nevermind, I see this is still a known issue that Ford is investigating.

    ST Transmission

Funny you mention the clunking... since we had ours reprogrammed it shifted well until recently. Now, intermittently, it clunks BADLY when shifting from park to drive (or reverse) or from drive to park. No error codes thrown and I thought maybe my wife wasn't fully engaging the brake but she has and it still happens, but not all the time or reproduce-able to get service and waste that time. Thoughts/suggestions?
  4. Ditto for ours. Had the tranny reprogrammed/updated too, so far so good!

    Test & Tune

You're not going to have 4 wheel burnouts with the Edge ST, sorry to say. Traction shouldn't be a problem with decent rubber at each corner. The biggest play will be to see what rpm/boost range is the best to get out of the hole from / where the turbos are spooled up at the proper level for the best launch and fastest overall ETA. I'd play with your launch as is in various modes (just from a normal stopped position, no engine load) then go back and compare to preloading the engine with the break down to various rpm/boost ranges and see what produces the best results and report back.

2019 Ford Edge Exterior Color Guide

The ST only comes in Performance Blue (for blue shades that is). The other trims of the Edge come in a different shade of blue but not performance blue. I suspect it will change next year but for 2019 that's the options.

    Couple issues...

The welcome section is giving a permissions denied error (not the 2nd one down but the top one). The 2nd one down that requires 5 posts apparently requires manual recognition of 5 posts or isn't quite updated. I've made 5 but it also shows permission denied. Just fyi. Appreciate the dedicated site though! I've found places like this for past vehicles to be a GREAT resource.
  9. Our dealer (AutoNation) was great. They called as soon as the vehicle hit the lot and when I said we were interested they locked it down so no one would sit in it much less drive it then let us take it for 2 days to make sure we liked it. Just wish they were closer for service. If you can get a deal on one (ours was easy, it's Z plan) it's a heck of vehicle for the money. A HUGE improvement over our 2011 Edge Sport IMO.

Change the exhaust tone on the ST

I have to be honest, and it's coming from someone who LOVES a good exhaust note, I think they did well on the Edge. The v6 just doesn't have a great note so in a vehicle like that, I'd prefer the quiet. The piped in sound is just flat out awful. Now on the other hand, one thing I don't care for on my V is how quiet it is. I complained to people for the first several months I had it how quiet it is vs my previous SRT and they all looked at me like I was nuts. It wasn't until I followed another V one day that i realized it was just quiet INSIDE. lol.

What Other Fords Do You Own?

"I'm not with Shelby any longer, I am now with Saleen." That's awesome... a move from horsepower to horsepower. 👍 Personally I'd love to see the rumored V8 + electric mustang myself. Use that electric to drive more power to individual wheels! I just need more space and don't see Ford putting real power in other vehicles. The new Edge ST is nice (my wife just got one) but it's still not the level of power I prefer.

Change the exhaust tone on the ST

I'd be thrilled to keep the noise cancelling function but turn off the piped in awful sound. I believe you can disable the whole thing via forscan but it also kills the noise cancelling function as well.

What Other Fords Do You Own?

Oddly enough, I'm waiting on Ford to release more details on the alleged Mustang SUV electric V8 thing. If they make it dumb fast enough I might trade my beloved CTS-V in given how surprisingly happy I've been with the wife's Edge ST thus far. I'm hoping for Jeep Trackhawk kind of speeds. Fingers crossed. BTW, those are some beautiful Mustangs... I would be broke if I worked for Shelby
