    Hi from Cologne Germany

Yea, you certain are right, vehicles get bigger and bigger. But look at the EcoBoost engins, downsizeing the name of the game. I am 6"2 and I love to drive the various US pickups and SUVs. But gas prices her one can't afford it. Too many gal. on a mile. My kuga needs 1.55 gal. per mile.

    awaiting EDGE 2015

Rob, well see thats how life is. One from here, one from there and the outcome => 1 Amecican The persons I mentioned ared Directors of Ford Purchasing. Instead of coming in Dec. 2015 joust join our reunion in May I to ask for your help/assistance. It's off topic. A friend of mine has a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 6036 litre engine, first registration Oct. 2007, VIN 1J8HCE8317Y587819. So far so good. But last week he wercked his engine, now he would like to buy one in the states. Could you provide a dealer who could and would deliver to Germany? What would a replacement engine cost? New? used?

We are expecting guests from Austria, Switzerland, Spain and the UK. The gathering will take place in the greater Erfurt area. awaiting EDGE 2015

Hey Robert, Prussia is a looooong time back then. So you do speak some German I think. Do you? I know the US cars are more or less equipped with petrol engines. When I lived in the States, McLean, VA, near Arlinton back in the 70ies, I loved driving the 68 Mustang. My dad had a Ford LTD station wagon, in a strange brown color. I assume you are working at Ford Dearborn? I am at the Cologne plant, Raw Material Purchasing. In October I met Ermal Faulkner and Bob Boyskovizc (hope I spelled his name right) here in Cologne. Will you visit Cologne again? What's your job?

    Hi from Cologne Germany

we do have the EcoSport. It's on the Fiesta B-platform. Nice little car, would like to get one for my wife. But the quality is really not on a level that I expect from Ford. I assume the EcoSport will be produced at MCA in Craiova Romania. Then the quality and the features available will increase. The Bronco with a 2.3 litre diesel engine including some Jeep / Mercedes M elements, yea, that'll be a vehicle for me. But driving a F150 or Raptor ......, one can't afford driving such a car in Europe. Gas consuption is just too high and taxes not to say insurance is too expensive. yea, I'll keep on dreaming coming back to the States.

    awaiting EDGE 2015

hi all, we in Europe are awaiting the Ford EDGE despartely. As far as I heard we don't get a V6 or V8 petrol engine, but a 2.3 litre diesel. Unfortunately Ford dosn't provide very much details on the European version. Have you heard of any features? Pics are also wellcome

    Hi from Cologne Germany

hi, yes and no. you have to look at it from 2 sides. first in 2008 there was a new vehicle, designed in Europe, that's the Kuga MK1. That's the one I have as you can see on my web site. Then in 2013 Europe -let me put it this way- had to take the Escape. Changed the name to Kuga and that's made it to the Kuga MK2. I really don't like the Escape. It has no real distinctive mark. It would have been better for Ford if they had taken the Escape frame and the custom body (slightly modified) from the old Kuga MK1. One will recognize the old version, the new one looks like every other small van.
