  1. I don’t see any reason why it would “short everything out”. I would start slow as far as connecting your systems to it. Take a look and see what the plug situation looks like and see if they look compatible at all. The first hurdle is the HVAC control plug. The plugs for the nav antenna & Sirius antenna are likely the same. The danger comes if the main harness plus ARE the same is if the actual pin outs are the same. For that you need a manual. OR. If the plug is the same, take the dive, plug the sucker in and see if the system boots. Look at it this way….if it works, you’ll be famous! Because I’ll be at the dealer buying one before your post is even is even uploaded!
  2. Adjusting those stops worked a treat! Thanks for the advice. Now I have to take it in to figure out why I’m getting a chassis vibration at freeway speeds. Have you added an intake or exhaust to yours? I’ve ordered H&R springs and a full set of Bilstein B6 dampers so I’m looking forward to the lowered and grippy life.
  3. I’ll give that a try. I’m going to add a few pieces of dynamat in strategic areas under the hood under the insulation pad when I install it to make sure it’s nice and quiet and the hood is solid.
  4. Did this insulation stop the hood from vibrating so much at freeway speeds? I’ve noticed that mine seems to vibrate at speeds above 70 as if it is getting a lot of buffeting to the point I’ve considered adding reinforcements underneath.
  5. Does anyone know if it’s possible to add the perimeter sensor as a self install option? I don’t have any access to code the sensor to the vehicle so that is also the point of my question is whether the vehicle will just recognize the sensor and have it function? Thanks in advance
