What Other Fords Do You Own?

I used to work for Shelby American, first in Dearborn, Michigan and later in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I bought my first Ford, a 1969 Mustang back in 1985 while in high school.  I still have it (in storage), although I am working on it.  Those General XP tires are from 1987 and are like brand new. . .wouldn't drive with them though.

My second Mustang (actually it's my wifes) is a Shelby Terlingua - only 36ish were made and (2005-2009 models) were 4.0L V6 models - a super charger was optional.  These were mainly built for track usage and since the V6 weighed a lot less, they track a lot better.

My second Mustang is a Shelby GT500KR.  It was an early build through Ford and Shelby needed a KR to upgrade, so mine was the victim so to speak.  We modified the suspension, brakes and engine.  It puts out 871ish horsepower.

I so wish Ford still made a Lincoln Mark and was hoping that they would bring it back under the Mark IX.  It's was disappointing when they brought out the Lincoln LS series (cool cars) and not an updated Mark.  Love that you've put a 351W into it - great engines.  My 1969 has an original 1971 Boss 351 (Cleveland) in it and they are nice engines, but the Windsor is easier to mod and deal with.

Yes!  My daughter calls in the Rabbit car because of the Texas Jackrabitt on the hood.

Traded a leased 2016 Focus ST for the Edge ST, also leased.  Mom leases a 2017 Lincoln MKC 2.3 and Dad leases a 2017 Ford Escape SE 2.0 AWD, with some package that includes 19 inch black wheels.  My brother leases an F150 and owns a 2017 Mustang Ecoboost with Sport Pack.

Oddly enough, I'm waiting on Ford to release more details on the alleged Mustang SUV electric V8 thing.  If they make it dumb fast enough I might trade my beloved CTS-V in given how surprisingly happy I've been with the wife's Edge ST thus far.  I'm hoping for Jeep Trackhawk kind of speeds. Fingers crossed.  BTW, those are some beautiful Mustangs... I would be broke if I worked for Shelby :)

An electric Mustang would be the bomb, although I am not sure most of the Mustang community would agree with me.  I like the chiseled design of the Cadillacs. . .the news ones are going away from that.  I'm not with Shelby any longer, I am now with Saleen.

That's awesome... a move from horsepower to horsepower. 👍

Personally I'd love to see the rumored V8 + electric mustang myself.  Use that electric to drive more power to individual wheels!  I just need more space and don't see Ford putting real power in other vehicles.  The new Edge ST is nice (my wife just got one) but it's still not the level of power I prefer.
